I began acting in 1981 in a local production of L'il Abner and since then I have appeared in more than 100 stage plays in and about Ithaca, NY in venues such as First Street Playhouse, Central Casting, Firehouse Theatre, Dryden Footlighters, Cornell Savoyards, Elmira Little Theatre, Elmira College Theatre, Ithaca Opera, Hangar Theatre, Kitchen Theatre, Cortland Repertory, Cider Mill Playhouse and Theatre Cornell.

Most recently performances have been at Cornell in Grapes of Wrath (Grandpa) and Good Person of Setzuan  (Grandfather); Cortland Repertory in It Runs in the Family (Sir Willoughby); Cider Mill in Our Town (Bill Warren), Ten Little Indians (Mackenzie) and Golf with Alan Shepard (Milt); and at Ti-Ahwaga Community Players as Carl in Mornings at Seven.

I have directed a half dozen or so plays and numerous staged readings locally. Additionally, I have appeared in more than fifty films for Ithaca College and Cornell Student Directors, plus local independent cinematographers.

As host of local access television shows, Speaking of Theatre and Round About Tompkins County, I conducted more than six hundred Interviews and discussions of social, political and theatrical interest.
